
In a politically significant moment for Njikoka, Amb. Chukwuemeka Nwachukwu (Osisioma Umunri) of Orji Village, Enugwu-Ukwu Na Umunri, officially joined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), marking a major boost to the party's strength in Enugwu-Ukwu Ward 4 and Njikoka Constituency 1.
Amb. Nwachukwu, a former PDP candidate for Njikoka Constituency 1 in the last Anambra State House of Assembly election, announced his defection on June 21. He cited the impressive governance and transformative leadership of Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR as his main motivation for joining APGA.








“I am inspired by the Governor’s vision and the real change he is bringing across Anambra State. This is a movement I must be part of,” Nwachukwu stated.
His defection was celebrated and witnessed by a high-profile delegation of APGA leaders and government officials, including:
