NJIKOKA LGA SHINES AT 2025 LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE WEEK: WINS 1ST IN CULTURAL EXHIBITION, HEAD OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION AMONG TOP THREE IN ANAMBRA

Njikoka Local Government has once again made history by emerging 1st Position in the 2025 Cultural Exhibition Competition among the 21 local government councils in Anambra State, as part of activities marking the 2025 Local Government Service Week.

The award was officially presented to the Mayor of Njikoka, Hon. Barr. Chinedu Dominic Ononiba, today by the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Mr. Martin Obimbekwe, during a brief but joyful ceremony at the Council Secretariat, Abagana. The exhibition victory highlights the Council’s strong commitment to promoting culture, tradition, and community identity.

In addition to the cultural win, Mr. Obimbekwe also joyfully announced that Njikoka LGA was rated among the Top 3 Local Governments in Anambra State in terms of performance, coordination, and service delivery—an affirmation of the collective hard work of the council’s leadership and workforce.

Barr. Ononiba, in his remarks, dedicated both recognitions to the people of Njikoka and thanked the staff of the council for their continued loyalty and dedication. He expressed appreciation to Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR for providing the enabling environment that drives excellence at the grassroots.

He further reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining progressive development and promoting the cultural heritage of the people.
