The Association of Point of Sale Agents (APSA) in Njikoka Local Government Area has received a significant boost to their operations, courtesy of the Mayor of Njikoka, Barr. Chinedu Dominic Ononiba. As part of his administration's commitment to promoting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the Mayor donated 250 plastic chairs, tables, and branded banners to APSA to enhance their visibility and comfort while conducting business.






During the presentation, Barr. Ononiba assured the association that a financial grant would be provided before the end of August to further support and strengthen their operations. He emphasized the importance of empowering grassroots businesses, describing POS agents as key drivers of local economic growth and financial inclusion.
The Chairman of APSA Njikoka, Mr. Sam Onyeka, expressed gratitude to the Mayor, the APGA local government, and the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, for the support. The event was attended by the Deputy Mayor, Lady Iyom Fidelia Okafor, Councillors, and Supervisory Councillors, underscoring the local government's commitment to supporting small businesses and promoting economic development in the area.




This empowerment initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, enhancing the capacity of POS agents to provide efficient services to the community. The APSA Njikoka Chapter has pledged to continue working closely with the local government to promote financial inclusion and economic growth in the area.
