On Tuesday, 9th December 2025, the Mayor of Njikoka Local Government Area, Barr. Dominic Chinedu Ononiba, was on-site to inspect the ongoing asphalting of the Abagana-Oye Nimo Road.
The inspection comes as part of his commitment to ensuring the quality delivery of infrastructural projects across the LGA. He was visibly pleased with the pace and quality of work done so far.
The Mayor expressed satisfaction as 500 meters (half a kilometer) of the road has already been completed. He, however, urged the contractor to intensify efforts to complete the project in good time, especially with the festive season approaching.
Barr. Ononiba reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to improving road networks for better mobility and development across Njikoka.
